Job Description I work with two programs- Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) and the education component of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program- (SNAP-Ed) at NC State University called, Steps to Health. In EFNEP, I am a programmatic supervisor to 6 Educators in 6 counties in the Southeast District. In partnership with the County Extension Director, I hire, train, coach, and evaluate those Educators. In my Steps to Health role, I work with Family and Consumer Science Agents to influence the Policy, Systems, and Environmental (PSE) factors of health within their counties. Those factors are the ones above the individual-- the organization, community, and how that plays into public policy. My region includes these counties: Brunswick, Bladen, Carteret, Columbus, Duplin, Greene, Jones, Lenoir, New Hanover, Onslow, Pender, Sampson, and Wayne. http://www.ncefnep.org https://ncstepstohealth.org/
